EXPERIENCE OUR PROGRAMS

  • Digital Photography
Your classroom just got a whole lot bigger! In Studio Arts and Photography, the entire Lehigh campus – along with the city of Philadelphia – is your backdrop. From composition and color to lighting and technique, you’ll enjoy an experience designed to cultivate the artist in everyone. You'll also develop skills that promote self-expression, making your photography more personal and more powerful. For this course, students are required to bring their own digital camera.

  • Creative Writing
Creative Writing is one of Blueprint's Core Four courses available at any of our program schools. Our Core Four represent the tried-and-true courses you've loved for years. We also offer four Specialty Courses that are location-specific. These courses take advantage of campus and community amenities, and have highly limited availability.

  • Business
Have you ever dreamed of starting your own company or running a business? Learn some tricks of the trade this summer at Blueprint! Class topics can range from conceiving adventurous ideas, planning and executing your goals, marketing and selling strategy, how to build strong business relationships and more! Students will be immersed in all that goes on in the fast-paced business world, and special attention will be given to maintaining market value in this rapidly changing economy.

  • Forensic Science
Go beyond prime time and take a closer look at the real-world professionals who make a career out of solving crimes. This hands-on course investigates the origins of forensic science and criminology, the impact of modern technology and the breakthroughs that are on the horizon. Oh, yeah – there’s also crime scenes, blood spatter and cases to solve. Topics can include high-profile cases and the role that forensic science and criminology played in their outcomes.

  • Psychology 101
Psychology is a favorite choice among college students – and Blueprint students – for obvious reasons. (Serial killers! Body language! Experiments!) Students will spend their time focusing on the ins and outs of behavioral science. Syllabus topics can include the history of the field, advances in mental health and practice, and new theories that are changing the way we look at the brain and each other. Students will participate in research, discussion, lectures and cool readings.

ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS

From academics to architecture, Lehigh University is in a class by itself. The university is consistently ranked as one of the top-tier research universities in the nation, with a strong commitment to in-depth learning and educational exploration. But Lehigh has beauty, as well as brains.

Located in Pennsylvania's scenic Lehigh Valley, the sprawling 2,358-acre campus makes Lehigh one of the largest private universities in the country. Off campus, students enjoy cultural events, entertainment and attractions in nearby Philadelphia and New York City.

Lehigh's designated airport is Lehigh Valley International Airport. Students traveling to the program by plane may request Blueprint's Pick-Up/Drop-Off service during the online registration process for an additional fee.

  • Reputation For Excellence
Lehigh is recognized as a leader in research and personal development, with more than 20 cross-disciplinary programs that encourage students to broaden their education beyond the confines of a primary field of study.

  • Award Winning Faculty
Lehigh features a distinctive culture of teaching and learning. Of the university's full-time, tenure-track faculty, 99% hold a doctorate degree or other highest degree by field.
